As the Clinical Director with the Triggered Project who is using art as a primary way to highlight the trauma experienced by men. Specifically Black men has made me aware of my growth edges around toxic masculinity. Therefore, as a Black female therapist I focused my education to manage my issues around toxic masculinity to become a viable option for Black male liberation in this time of a shortage of Black male therapists.
