Hello all! I am a therapist with extensive experience helping people heal from trauma and navigate stress. I have worked and trained all over the world - in Northern Iraq, India, and Costa Rica, helping folks heal from war trauma and violence. I now work in Denver with New Americans and immigrant families as they adjust to the US, and here in Boulder with anyone ready to heal from trauma and feel more alive. My practice is called Prosocial because it is a community-based model, which means when you come to therapy with Prosocial, you make it possible for others to access affordable, low-cost therapy. Your session gives a session, and every session counts. This is where self-care becomes community care. Find out more at my website at the bottom of this page. Let's heal together!

“With adversity comes opportunity” from the I Ching- Or Book of Changes The decision to seek therapy can be due to times of stress or the desire to seek change. We know that change is not always a straight path. To take a “road less traveled” can be filled with a beautiful river that flows and leads to clarity or it be a be a river filled with large boulders that need to be traversed with help and support. Therapy can be a tool that facilitates resilience and transformation. My approach in therapy is to first engage in a process of discovery. As your therapist, we will work together to discover what events, situations, and relationships in your life or your past do not work for you now. It is really important to understand how your life works in order to set goals and create change. Most importantly, it is important to remember that change affects all the people in your life. Please note that I am also a provider for Victims Compensation for Boulder County Please visit my website below

YOU matter. As do your stories of grief and loss, trauma, identity questions, anxiety and stress.... All of these things are such human struggles and yet, are so disregarded, often misunderstood, and can even be painfully disrespected. So much so that it can be really hard to know where to start or how to navigate through them. When working together with me: - FIRST, you'll be believed. - Then, through earned trust, safety, and collaboration, we'll work together to help you gain new insights and tools toward a sense of relief and wellness. I provide individual and group therapy and offer both in person and telehealth options through Ellie Mental Health. (In person options are either in Aurora or Lakewood!) You can reach out to me directly OR you can visit the website and find my bio and schedule with me through the search filters.

We live in a world full of things that can make life feel like a challenge. Stress, anxiety, adverse experiences, and complicated relationships can make it difficult to feel motivated on the day-to-day. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and that the role of the therapist is to help clients feel safe and supported so that together we can address whatever a client may bring into session. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR and hypnotherapy, to address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relational concerns, exploration of gender and sexuality, and more. I am licensed to practice in both Nevada and Colorado to see individuals, couples, and families ages 6 and up. If you are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or looking for someone to help you make sense of whatever you are struggling with, I am happy to assist! Please reach out to schedule an intake or consultation to see if I am the right therapist for you.

At Ellie - Aurora City Center we strive to meet our clients where they're at to help them get where they want to be. We don’t believe people are broken. But we also don’t believe that “fine” is the ceiling of their potential. We believe therapy is part of the ongoing work of being human. Being human is the hardest thing any of us will ever do and while there is no universal map or linear path, billions of people have walked this terrain before and their collective wisdom across multiple dimensions is essential to framing our understanding of ourselves and each other There’s insight, strategy, and perspective available but no one can walk the path for anyone else. Our role as therapists isn’t to dictate or diagnose from a distance. Nor are we passive companions. We walk with our clients, actively supporting their journeys with clarity, accountability, and emotional safety. Therapy is where insight becomes action, and where healing isn’t handed over—it’s created, felt, and lived. We promise to show up, bring our full humanity, and help clients travel their paths with courage and clarity.
