Here, you can take the first steps towards finding the answers you seek.
As a Clinical Psychologist, in practice for over 30 years, I have had the privilege of working with a variety of concerns, and view therapy as a collaborative and supportive process. I have specialties in the areas of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and women's issues, and a particular interest in college-related challenges associated with achievement, motivational struggles, career decisions, and transitioning to independence. I also have a PSYPACT authorization and can offer telepsychology in participating states.
Welcome to Restoration Counseling Services. My practice specializes in the treatment of out of control sexual behaviors, sexual addiction and trauma related to sexual assault and abuse. I've served college students in the university setting for over 20 years, as an academic advisor and counselor on multiple campuses. I have specific experience working with students to help them navigate personal, academic, career, social, stress, wellness, and relationship issues. I have enjoyed particularly assisting students in exploring their identities, managing stress, creating successful academic and experiential strategies and schedules, motivation, selecting a major, deciding up on a career focus, addressing anxiety and depression, navigating life changes, improving relationships, and growing their confidence and self-esteem. I implement practical, goal-oriented treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Psychoeducation to help clients recognize thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving them as they incorporate new strategies for moving forward. I want to enable students to achieve their best potential, question themselves less, and live their most joyful lives.
I am a licensed social worker who works with children (ages 4 to 18), families and adults by providing a trusting and supportive environment in our Philadelphia and NJ offices and virtually. I have experience working with various clients from diverse backgrounds across settings including the community, schools, homes and outpatient settings. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, behavioral concerns, autism, and trauma. I am in the process of receiving supervision hours towards my clinical social work license. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and motivational interviewing, I use client centered and trauma informed approaches to therapy. I can assist you in making positive changes while working toward your goals. Reaching out for support can be difficult, but I am looking forward to meeting you when you are ready!
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who likes to provide a positive and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves and recognize their own power for change. Through my time in the mental health field, I have learned the importance of meeting a client where they’re at in their treatment process and supporting them in their personal goals. I like providing a relaxed therapeutic environment through therapeutic activities and sometimes even light humor. I typically use a combination of family systems theories and motivational interviewing. Through the use of a systemic approach, it allows me to connect with my clients and understand their family system and communication patterns. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) to support clients in addressing trauma. Outside my role as a therapist I enjoy spending time with my husband, new daughter and rescue dog, especially taking walks and exploring new places. I also love traveling, challenging myself with Peloton classes and playing volleyball. When it is time to relax, I like watching Netflix, Disney+ and reality shows.
Life is challenging and trying to figure out who you are, where you are going and what your purpose is, is hard enough. Then we throw in friendships, romantic relationships, careers and family dynamics and we can get overwhelmed so easily. In therapy we work together to find clarity. I have significant experience helping young adults in their 20s and 30s to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression by exploring relationship and work difficulties, figuring out adulthood, and navigate feeling lost amongst your peers. I work with college students and young professionals navigating young early adulthood. Where we go in therapy depends on you. I take my expertise and knowledge and tailor it to meet your personal needs and what would bring you relief. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion with a focus on living a life that makes you feel fulfilled. Whether this is your first time looking for a therapist or you've traveled down this road before, good for you. Asking for help requires courage. If you are looking to work with a therapist that will be interactive, non-judgmental, empathic and kind, reach out to see if we are a good fit. We will set up at 10minute call to see if we are good fit!

Hi! My name is Josh Foster, I have over 20 years experience in working with college students, helping them through many of the most difficult emotional barriers and roadblocks that we face. I love working with college students! A lot of the work that I do with people centers around trauma that they have experienced. As someone who has been diagnosed with PTSD as a result of trauma suffered by churches and religious people and systems, I have great empathy and understanding for people dealing with trauma. Here's some of how I approach the work I do with people: I’ll get to know you through asking questions. No one story can encapsulate all of who you are, so I’ll listen and show curiosity about you and your life. I will speak hope to you. I believe that hope is essential to keep moving forward as a human being. I also understand how hard it can be to hold onto. We’ll look for repeated themes, ideas, and connections in your stories so that we can find the problem(s) and discover the tactics and strategies that the problems are using to stay in power. We will work to separate you from the problem(s). I honestly believe that you are not the problem but that whatever problem you are struggling with (anxiety, depression, anger) is the problem. We will discover who you aspire to be and develop tools and strategies that can help you to live for longer stretches of time as the best version of yourself. We’ll work to develop tools that you can utilize in between our sessions, and truths for you to hold on to, so that you can have more hope. I’ll help you learn to pay attention to the ways that your body is trying to communicate to you. I find that the people who make the most progress usually do some reflection between sessions.

We celebrate and treat with the utmost respect all diverse backgrounds including sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, and gender identity to name a few.
If you want to be challenged, empowered, think differently, and explore difficult subject matter I would welcome the opportunity to sit down and talk. I began my career as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) later in life, and I have great passion for the work I do with my clients. I have 8 years of experience as a therapist for children/teens, adults, and families. I have worked in out-patient, school-based, in-home, and community settings. For individual and family therapy, I use a client-based, relational approach that focuses on positive communication, mutual respect, and active listening skills. I enjoy collaborating with clients on goals. I have a strong background in trauma and in providing services for at-risk teens and young adults. I offer counseling for mood and personality disorders, grief and loss, separation/divorce and family issues, as well as for medically based diagnoses, such as ADHD, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and cancer. My style is person-centered and eclectic, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused interventions. I also enjoy providing group therapy for children, teens, and adults, and I believe that each group is an opportunity for growth, connection, and validation.

Sometimes along our journeys we learn ways of thinking and feeling that aren’t most helpful to us later on. I offer an opportunity to consider unlearning what isn’t serving us and to find new ways of thinking. Other times, we’d all just benefit from an extra layer of support; time set aside that’s all ours. Most of all, the work we do will allow you to feel some relief, comfort, connection, the opportunity to experience positive feelings, and sit with the hard ones. I offer therapy to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, obsessive thoughts, trauma, grief, career challenges, and motherhood. I specialize in treating disordered eating and body image concerns. I work extensively with runners. I practice a holistic approach and am skilled in meditation, yoga, mindfulness, and coping techniques. I understand that the best therapy happens when you and your therapist are a great fit. I offer a compassionate, thoughtful, and effective approach. I believe in the healing power of animals and my bulldog, Olive, joins us for sessions.
